Backstory

Edwards- A US Marine who, when he was 11, lost his little brother in a drowning accident.

Gamboa- Cuban defector and 2004 olympic gold medalist who sold his gold medal to pay for his daughter’s birthday party.

The fight

Round One- Gamboa comes out swinging hard and knocks Edwards down in 30 seconds, then, at 1:30 left in the fight, knocks Edwards out with a hard left hook.

What’s Next

Looks like Edwards blew out his knee when he went down for good. Gamboa is an up and comer, and needs to be watched. The guy’s awesome.
